The incident was over 13 years ago, leave my name alone from your falsehoods.
Gertz v. Robert Welch, Inc. (1974) recognized that private citizens are generally more vulnerable to reputational injury and deserve meaningful legal protection from defamatory falsehoods.
Readers are therefore encouraged to request evidence, documentation, context, and verifiable sourcing whenever substantial claims are made about any individual. I am going to let the records speak for themselves in this post.
A Reflection on Discernment, Documentation, and Public Awareness
Recently, after returning from a court hearing involving matters connected to a board member associated with the Eric Marsh Foundation for Wildland Firefighters, I saw a message that had just been added, and we waited more than one hundred days for a reply.
Interesting timing.
For over 13 years, I have watched conversations develop around various organizations, personalities, narratives, and competing viewpoints.
Some discussions focus on what people call "curtains" hiding activities behind nonprofit structures. Others speak in certainties without producing evidence like good ol' James R. Fahrenkopf (Treasurer, Eric Marsh Foundation for Wildland Firefighters, EIN 46-5441458) (Amanda Beno Marsh) (President) in his public sexual commentary and his publicly made falsehoods towards me with zero "burden of proof".
My interest remains elsewhere. Focused to God.
My focus is, however, also on documentation, chronology, public records, and evidence.
As many know, I am medically vulnerable. I also possess more than thirteen years of records, observations, communications, and historical material related to matters that intersect with wildfire history, public-safety concerns, and the broader narratives surrounding those events.
Because of that volume of information, any review will take time, and I stored it in a wealthy area who has more resources than me. I will add anything that is archived at wayback machine on post and let the others do the rest to determine which route we are going to take---- keep gathering or make this the time to get the legal team back to together with a new political publicist. I passed the baton so my role is to upload the evidence - exhibits, only. I can state the IAH is not the right path because it limits how far back you can go--- we want to teach true full lessons to be learned.
Days.
Months.
Possibly years.
I am not operating from haste.
I am operating from preservation.
The Importance of Accurate Identity
One issue that requires clarification is simple but significant:
I am Joy A. Collura.
I am not Joy Hayden, Jim.
No matter how inadvertent, mistaken identity creates confusion, introduces factual inaccuracies into discussions, and can substantially affect reputations. Why do that? You were representing an organization AND IDENTIFIED AS THE TREASURER. Sound bites there too.
During my last communication with James R. Fahrenkopf, I provided information intended to clarify this distinction.
From my perspective,
accuracy matters.
Facts matter.
Names matter.
Documentation matters.
If conversations are going to occur regarding me, then the foundation should begin with correctly identifying who I am.
Discernment Over Assumption
Scripture repeatedly emphasizes discernment.
The modern world often rewards immediate conclusions, social amplification, and emotional reactions.
Evidence rarely travels as fast as assumptions.
Yet assumptions can have consequences.
I passed the baton years ago so if the wealthy area is ready to pursue- than they will on my behalf. Or we will just keep gathering and keep running the surveillance on it all. There is no hurry--- the clock starts going to "STOP and FILE" when the sanitized narrative is officially told and Jim now gets added to the continued harmful evidentiary file because there was zero legitimate purpose for his actions he did on me publicly- and the stats of limitations- well I lay in that grey area-because if my evidence can show specifics--- right...!?
The constitutional tradition of the United States recognizes both freedom of speech and accountability. The First Amendment protects speech, press, assembly, and petition rights.
At the same time, defamatory falsehoods are not afforded unlimited protection, and American courts have recognized distinctions between truth, opinion, negligence, reckless disregard, and actual malice.
Accordingly, whenever claims are made about any person, the proper question should not be:
"Who repeated it first?"
The proper question should be:
"What evidence supports it?"
That is the burden of responsible discourse.
A Call for Empathy and Restraint
I also wish to acknowledge something important.
Even where disagreements exist, every individual involved remains a human being.
That includes individuals with whom I may disagree.
That includes those whose statements I believe may be inaccurate.
That includes people connected to tragic events, personal trauma, grief, loss, confusion, or longstanding controversy.
Compassion does not require agreement.
Discernment does not require hostility.
Truth-seeking does not require cruelty.
I wonder if you all heard that last one, Jim. Truth-seeking does not require cruelty.
The goal should never be destruction of another human being ever or publicly ridicule without authentic receipts and authentic metadata.
The goal should be accuracy.

Historical Preservation, Documentation, and the Duty of Discernment
I. Downfall of False Authorities
The content describes a period in which individuals are witnessing the downfall of false leaders, false teachers, and false authorities. integrity, and that entire identities, platforms, and positions of influence have been built around principles that are violated in practice. Genuine leadership is distinguished from systems that require silence of questions, intimidation, or the destruction of another’s credibility. why?
III. Accountability and Integrity
The content states that contradictions are becoming harder to conceal. Lives, identities, and platforms built on false influence are described as coming down. Individuals who have been weaponized or used as instruments are said to face accountability in various forms. Genuine teachers do not need to silence those who ask questions. Integrity does not require tearing down another’s credibility either Jim R Fahrenkopf. Exposure of false authority is framed as accountability rather than revenge. Purpose is said not to require permission from systems, authorities, or hierarchies. Influence that seeks to make purpose dependent on approval deserves to be questioned.
IV. Season of Discernment
The content describes a season of discernment and accountability.
Illusions fall as awareness increases. That is what I am doing here.
Truth seekers are identified as the greatest
threat to systems built on deception. A title does not make one trustworthy. The masks are described as coming off. The content concludes that
nobody has the authority to take ownership over another person and that is what I am doing for my name and others, and that the exposure of false systems brings rewards to those who have withstood attempts to stop them. The record is preserved for situational awareness and independent evaluation. Public safety matters.

God made us all with different gifts for a reason, but the mission is one: serve the hurting. It’s time to come together — not necessarily as one single outfit, but as a united front where we collaborate, refer families seamlessly, and focus on the race to recovery instead of competing lanes. The people affected deserve our best, together.
I have my YT timeline suggestions on "OFF" but somehow you showed up--- and it came in Google alerts Wednesday, July 1st, 2026 at 9:22 PM- "funny how that works"...Christina, first — prayers for the families and sisters/brothers affected by the recent losses last weekend in Colorado. Your message, with its strong focus on Amanda’s lean, 100% "direct" approach where every dollar helps those in need and costs are covered by retail — while you were likely encouraging donors to look carefully at salaries, building costs, and program expenses — ??? - came across as possibly (un)intentionally divisive rather than uniting the wider fire community. Why add that in there?
Perspectives in nonprofit management and organizational studies highlight that many effective organizations begin as grassroots, kitchen-table efforts driven by volunteers with little or no pay.
Over decades of dedicated service, they grow into stable operations with professional capacity, infrastructure, and reliable support for hundreds of families.
This everchanging cycles reflects earned growth and fiduciary responsibility, not to lay any layer towards diminished trustworthiness. It enables the sustained impact our community needs.
Both the intimate founder-led model and more established professionalized approaches offer real value.
When messaging centers so heavily on one direct style as the ideal, it can (un)intentionally create division instead of honoring the **full range** of contributions and strengths across the fire family support ecosystem.
**Unity** in this community matters deeply — especially after loss. Your video, while clearly well-intentioned, left me hoping for more emphasis on celebrating complementary efforts and long-term service rather than comparisons that feel like ranking.
Let’s uplift all who genuinely serve firefighters and their families.

There are multiple good organizations serving our fire community — some still lean and founder-driven, others that started at kitchen tables years ago and have grown into stable, professional outfits with the capacity to help hundreds reliably. No matter what lane you’re in, thank you to every organization that helps.
Our focus should be on the ones affected — they matter most. It’s not about judging overhead or size; it’s the race to recovery that we all should focus on. Thank you to any organization that helps, not just one specific. No matter what lane you are in — whether small and personal or a stable, professional outfit that once operated from a kitchen table — every legitimate effort counts.
One fire family. One mission. One heart. God-centered.
Christina, when you pointed out salaries, building costs, and program expenses while lifting up one model as the likely pure choice, that part was uncalled for and unneeded. It didn’t just recommend a foundation — it quietly cast doubt on the hearts, the years, and the sacrifice of people who have poured their lives into this work. Some started with nothing but a kitchen table and trembling hands, with tears in their eyes single raising a family, carrying the load long before any spotlight came. Others grew that pain into something strong and steady so more families could be held when tragedy strikes again.

Seeing larger organizations receive help from powerful entities [especially entities who are not forthcoming to trade secrets while I kept going to funerals of horrific style deaths] or having bigger infrastructure is something I personally had struggled with years ago. It was hard for me to fully swallow. I was once guilty of publicly criticizing just because of the **emotional toll** of these hospital bedsides and funerals I attended I for sure was announcing my discomfort, I’ve chosen to remove my content long ago and pray about it. I find it works * much better*** towards unity, peace and I know God hears our stewardship hearts.
My prayer is that everything — whether small and personal or larger and more established — stays ***God-centered***. That the focus remains on the families who are hurting, and that division doesn’t creep in where unity should be. God made us all with different gifts and different lanes. I’m asking Him to guide the giving, the serving, and the hearts of everyone involved so that it truly honors Him and helps the ones who matter most. Let Him be the host for these non profits...all glory to Him.

Lord, I lift up Christina to You.
Please keep her heart soft and her focus fully on You.
Help her to see clearly what honors You in how we give and how we speak about one another.

Christina, I’ve been sitting with your video and I’m left genuinely confused. You may understand that once I explain...
You strongly encourage people to possibly look into organizations in your **investigational** tactics with high salaries, building costs, and program expenses while lifting up the lean, 100% direct model.
Yet your own husband has shown over 10 long years of paid dedication membership support to the very type of organization you’re describing and a person with same last name also has been showing since 2020.
That said, I’m choosing to stay focused. My hope is that we can all keep our giving and our words **God-centered***, and that unity in the fire community remains ***more important** than which model we personally prefer.
I want to say this carefully because I know these kinds of conversations can feel like discussing religion or politics — very personal and easy to take the wrong way.
When an organization starts small, often from someone’s kitchen table with volunteers and very little money, it makes complete sense that there are little to no salaries. That’s how many good causes begin. But as the work grows — when you’re helping hundreds of families instead of a handful, when the cases become more complex, when you need experienced people who can handle serious responsibility year-round — the scale changes.
At that point, many established organizations move toward professional staffing. Reasonable compensation becomes part of attracting and keeping people who have the skills and experience to manage larger operations responsibly. It’s not unusual. Most mature nonprofits that operate at a bigger level follow this pattern because running something at scale requires different capacity than running something small and personal.
I’m not saying one way is better than the other. I’m just saying that what looks like “high pay” from the outside is often the result of growth, ***increased responsibility***, and the need to sustain the work long-term. Smaller, founder-led models and larger professional ones can both serve the same mission — they just operate differently because of their size and reach.
In my research I look for: Growth of the Organization, Comparable Market Rates, and Board Oversight. As organizations scale up in revenue, complexity, and reach, executive and senior staff compensation typically rises. For a nonprofit *Executive Director* running a $2-3M+ organization with (inter)national reach in a specialized field (first responder support), $150k–$165k is within normal range. From a standard nonprofit governance and market perspective, the increases are reasonable given the growth in size and responsibility. They are not wildly out of line with what similar organizations pay. However, whether it feels reasonable is subjective — especially to people who believe fire family support organizations should stay extremely small and low-overhead.
If that’s your stance and you believe pay and overhead are the main things people should judge an organization by, then I think you need to go much deeper like I have before making that kind of public statement.
Public IRS paperwork only shows numbers on a page. It doesn’t show the back-channel work, the history, the growth over time, or everything that actually goes into running these organizations day to day. There’s often a lot more going on behind the scenes than what shows up on those forms.
Before steering people away from certain groups based on salaries and overhead, it would be fair to get into the dirty and gritty details — not just the surface-level numbers. There’s usually more context than what the public filings alone reveal.
I’m not saying your concerns aren’t valid. I’m just saying that if you’re going to speak publicly on it, it’s worth doing the even deeper digging first. Your words possibly could carry weight, Christina — especially coming from a fire family. When you speak publicly about where people should or shouldn’t give, it can influence how others see these organizations and where they choose to send their support. That’s why it matters to be careful with how we frame things. A few sentences can shape someone’s entire view, even when there’s more to the story than what’s being said.
My hope is that we can all try to understand how these things actually work instead of assuming the worst. At the end of the day, the families who need help are what matter most. That was what I learned from my research.
While your husband has directed air operations on major fires even some that are "questionable", I’ve sat at the bedsides of people whose lives were **forever changed** by what they were exposed to during those same kinds of incidents especially when an action is laid on live fire and changes the narrative there. I’ve also been to the funerals. Horrific journeys.
My prayer is that we never lose sight of the real human cost behind these operations.
I pray that every wildland fire operational action is done with the highest possible care for the people on the ground — both the firefighters and the communities.
I pray that those making decisions from the air understand the long-term effects these choices can have on human bodies and lives, air quality and soil/water.
And I pray that we, as a fire family, can talk honestly about these things instead of only focusing on where donations should go.
It’s easy to speak about ideals from a distance. It’s much harder when you’ve seen what some of these decisions actually cost real people.
I’m choosing to keep praying for truth, safety, and real care for those who put their lives on the line — and for those who are left dealing with the consequences.

So I just eye witnessed and survived a wildland fire and in evacuation as a veteran's caregiver --Wyatt was ours from Indian Joe here locally but during YHF13 evacuation I learned "who stole him"--- that was very hard because Wyatt loved me fiercely but there I am hearing this person state he took him off a wall and he had him for 3 years and he went missing in the fire--here is receipt my cat went missing same time he said he took him off a wall in Congress, AZ, "my" residential wall and when I go through my records - I have surveillance of that person taking my cat then the evacuation FB missing pets for YHF13- there he was --- I thought I was gonna reunite then it sank--- the ad did not say found but "missing" ... The telephone conversations with James R. Fahrenkopf were cordial. It remains difficult to reconcile that on July 26, 2026, he addressed me as Jill rather than Joy and conducted himself as though he had no prior knowledge of the Yarnell Hill Fire 2013 eyewitness hikers, yet on September 11 and 12, 2026, he demonstrated full familiarity with me and advanced a characterization of my history that the present record has shown to be a falsehood. That characterization aligns with the manner in which Amanda has historically framed matters concerning me in her grey area style ways. The question arises why this occurred, particularly after I had remained out of the loop for an extended period.
The question that remains also is when healing from these matters will begin. I continue to pray that grace and truth prevail. I do not accept any assertion that any party will always always win/prevail concerning the fire incident in which I nearly lost my life. I legally own and experienced the events in question. The legacy will be told with accountability, pure facts, and integrity, without sanitizing from my area this day forward. This site requires visitors to be 18 years of age or older.
