ABC NEWS - KABC-TV saw this--- was this in the news???? I am tired of the glazed narratives---





















 



























































The area in question is Will Rogers State Park, featured in Kevin Nealon’s hiking video with Bill Burr, uploaded on March 20, 2025. The video’s description notes a significant event: "Sadly, several days after filming this episode, this beautiful trail in Will Rogers State Park was destroyed by the Pacific Palisades fire (1/7/25)." This fire, occurring on January 7, 2025, torched over 21,000 acres and displaced thousands of families, leading to the park’s closure.

To sum up:

  • Is the area legally closed off? Yes, Will Rogers State Park is closed due to the Pacific Palisades fire on January 7, 2025, for safety and recovery reasons.

  • How did Kevin Nealon film there? He filmed before the fire and closure, when the park was still accessible.

  • Why can’t you go? The closure, enacted after the fire, prevents public access, a restriction that didn’t apply when Nealon visited.
